Dee Ann founded Heritage Wealth Advisors in Richmond, VA, in 2005. A former tax and wealth management partner at KPMG, she had a deep understanding of the unique and complex needs of high-net-worth individuals. Dee Ann saw an opportunity to create the most comprehensive and collaborative multi-family office in the region and beyond.

Dee Ann’s current board service includes Chesapeake Financial Shares, Inc., The Valentine, and VMFA Charitable Advisors. Her previous service included The Community Foundation of Greater Richmond, RVA Community Development Corporation, Richmond Memorial Health Foundation, Richmond Sports Backers, The Visual Arts Center of Richmond, Richmond SPCA, and West Virginia University Foundation.

Dee Ann earned her B.S. magna cum laude from West Virginia University.  She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), and a Personal Financial Specialist. Her professional affiliations include the Institute for Certified Financial Planners and the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants.

She and her husband, Jim, have been married for over 35 years. Dee Ann enjoys her new role of Dee Dee to her two granddaughters.
