Takisha joined Heritage more than 15 years ago and works at the intersection of both the operations and administrative teams.
Prior to her joining Heritage, she worked at Virginia Farm Bureau and at Capital One Financial Corporation.
Takisha earned her bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her path to higher education was not linear, and she left VCU shortly after enrolling. She also serves as a notary.
Takisha is a part of the selection committee for Heritage’s Foundation for Financial Independence (FFI). Our first grant recipient, Neighborhood Resource Center Fulton, is located in Takisha’s community and focuses on providing resources to teach people to garden and prepare healthy meals, in addition to youth camps and after-school programs.
Takisha enjoys taking hip-hop dance classes, visiting local seafood restaurants, and traveling with her husband.
